How should I prepare for my colour?

Make sure your patch test is up to date. Have some ideas on what you would like your hair to look like, ideally we would love for you to bring 2/3 photos of hair you love and don't love.
Arrive with clean hair , washed within 24 hours of your appointments. It is a myth hairdressers like to colour dirty hair.
Please allow plenty of time for your appointment.
Put the blue/ purple shampoo down 2 weeks before your appointment.
Comfortable outfits as you may be sitting for a few hours.
Please avoid white tops & turtle necks.

What is a skin test?

A skin test usually involve dabbing a small amount of colour solution on your inner elbow and leave it to dry. If you develop any irritation or feel unwell after the patch test. Please contact me. This can take up to 48 hours to develop. This test is a legal requirement within the UK

What's the importance of a skin test?

The purpose of a skin test is determined if a customer has a reaction to the product or ingredients used during a colour appointment

Can I bring food to my appointment?

Yes

Can I bring my children to my appointment if they are not having their hair done?

Unfortunately due to my insurance policy children not having their hair done are not insured to be on the premises due to health and safety.

What is a silent appointment?

A silent appointment is for when you just want to sit in silence and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst getting your hair done. I won't talk to you unless you want me to once the consultation is completed. I may talk to you about a hair related subject but not anything that isn't related to your appointment. Sometimes we just want no talking and that's completely okay. Just let me know when booking in and this can be noted on your appointment.

What selection of drinks and snacks may be available?

Drinks - Tea, Coffee, Latte, Cappuccino, Flavoured lattes, Hot chocolate, Still water, Coke, Lemonade, Fizzy Orange, Decaf tea, Decaf coffee and Flavoured Tea’s Snacks - Lotus biscuits, Party Rings, Mini Cookies, Pick“n”Mix, Lindor chocolates, Jammy Dodgers.
